Caño Negro is one of the most amazing trips for incredible bird watching, if you come during dry season. You will also have the opportunity to see some Costa Rica´s wildlife. On our way you will learn about agriculture plantations such as yuca, papaya, pineapple, sugar cane and oranges. Right before the ride boat on the waters of río Frío, we will stop at a restaurant to grab a snack and drink. Río Celeste Hike
This hike combines natures beauty and allows you to observe wonderful flora and fauna. Hike at Tenorio Volcano National Park, pass by the Celeste River Lagoon and walk along two crystal clear streams which come together to form “Río Celeste”; where the clear water mysteriously changes into a beautiful bright, light-blue color (hence the name “Light-Blue-River”). Visit an area where volcanic smoke is expelled at high temperatures from the ground at the at the bottom of the river, creating Sulphur bubbles. The stunning colored Rio Celeste Waterfall offers an amazing view. The tour includes lunch, transportation, entrance fee, guide and water.
Come an enjoy hanging from the trees over cables. Costa Rica is well known over the world for this activity. The Canopy company offers your 13 cables and 15 platforms (most of them are huge healthy trees). You might want to include Tarzan Swing, which consists of swinging from a platform, making a swing inside the forest where you can reach up to 38 meters high tied to safety ropes (this activity has an additional cost). The entire journey takes approximately 2 hours; you will find adventures and amazing views of the volcano and surrounding nature.

Floating on our inflatable rafts you will ride the quiet waters of Peñas Blancas river. Our tour guide will provide a safe environment and point out the beautiful flora and fauna; like sloths, monkeys, toucans, crocodiles, Jesus Christ Lizards, colorful tropical birds and turtles. Leaving the river, we will enjoy a short garden tour where we will learn about coffee, chocolate and sugar cane, as well as the importance of these crops for our country.
